The fibre distribution cabinet EK245 L 2.6 is a veritable all-rounder in our product range.
Installation is simple, as the two separate areas for optical fibre trays and the micro-ducts are extremely easily accessible. The inside of the door contains the fibre trays for the single and multiple fibre management system for distributing and storing the optical fibres connected from the central office to the networked buildings. Inside the FDC Cabinet is the management system for the distribution micro-ducts (egress to the customers) as well as the organised stowage space and strain relief for the central office feeder cables or micro-ducts.
Installation of optical fibre technology into proven outdoor cabinets
Separated working space for splice and micropipe management
Assembly-friendly operation of optical fibre cables/micropipes
Ready for GPON and P-t-P applications
Populated with 144 single fibre cassettes or 72 multi-fibre cassettes
The extremely compact design of the fibre distribution cabinet EK430 M 2.6 simply sets it apart.
It was developed as a cost-optimised solution for situations with limited space to provide fast optical
fibre connections in residential areas.
The outgoing distribution micro-ducts are held securely in the combination of base plate, Duo clamps and strain relief lugs.
They are either designed for Ø 7 / 10 mm or Ø 12 mm. The included insertion and mounting aid enables the micro-ducts to be installed quickly and easily.
The outgoing distribution micro cables can be ideally inserted, as the micro-ducts can be easily removed from the Duo clamps and so guarantee simple access for the fibre blowing process. Optical fibre cables in micro-ducts as well as burried cables can be inserted and held in the fibre distribution cabinet in the feeder section on the left. Just above this is an option to store excess lengths of unused or uncut bundled loose tube fibres (loop function).
Micro-pipe/cable inlet with fastener and strain relief for 4x optical fibre cables/micro-pipes Ø 6.5–20 mm
Possible looping and stowage of uncut cables/stowage of excess length of at least 6 m
Mounting panel equipped with organiser module to accommodate E&MMS cassette system
Cassette slots for up to 72 E&MMS splice cassettes (5 mm) (maximum of 864 splices) or up to 36 splice cassettes (10 mm)
Micro cable organiser for different diameters:
– 1.3 mm
– 1.8 mm
– 2.5 mm
– 2.8–3.0 mm
– 3.5 mm
– 3.8–4.0 mm – NEW: 2.5 – 4.0 mm
Micro-pipe capacity for 48×7 mm or 10 mm as well as 48×10 mm or 12 mm using Duo clamp sorting
Micro-pipe management system with fixing straps for tool-free sorting and fastening of the outgoing micro-pipes
The EK30 S 2.6 was designed for use in suburbs and rural areas in which the network connection of single-family homes and multi-family homes is primarily planned. The fibre distribution cabinet is designed for 24 micro-ducts with a diameter of 7 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm.
DUO clamps and DUO fixing lugs can be used to accommodate a mixture of diameters.
