Fibre distribution cabinets

Easy-to-install, safe and robust

All our outdoor passive fi bre distribution cabinets are made of high-grade polycarbonate, which is exceptionally weather-resistant and easily recyclable. The fi bre distribution cabinet is ideally designed for Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) and for Point to Point – Ethernet (PtP) optical fi bre access networks. The outdoor cabinets provide optimum protection for different connection and network infrastructure components. Thanks to their high-quality workmanship, they are ideal for a wide range of applications. All installation steps are perfectly supported by the optimum sub-division of the interior of the cabinet into separate zones, for the optical fi bre cassette management on the inside of the door and micropipe management in the housing. Corning single and multiple fi bre cassettes (E&MMS) are available for management of the optical fi bres into which couplers / splitters can also be integrated. Langmatz pedestals serve as the ideal foundation for this. Langmatz outdoor cabinets are tailored to our customers' individual requirements – whether telecommunication, power supply or traffi c engineering

Fibre distribution cabinet EK430 M 2.6

The extremely compact design of the fibre distribution cabinet EK430 M 2.6 simply sets it apart. It was developed as a cost-optimised solution for situations with limited space to provide fast optical fibre connections in residential areas. The outgoing distribution micro-ducts are held securely in the combination of base plate, Duo clamps and strain relief lugs. They are either designed for Ø 7 / 10 mm or Ø 12 mm. The included insertion and mounting aid enables the micro-ducts to be installed quickly and easily. The outgoing distribution micro cables can be ideally inserted, as the micro-ducts can be easily removed from the Duo clamps and so guarantee simple access for the fibre blowing process. Optical fibre cables in micro-ducts as well as burried cables can be inserted and held in the fibre distribution cabinet in the feeder section on the left. Just above this is an option to store excess lengths of unused or uncut bundled loose tube fibres (loop function). The fibre distribution cabinet consists of a complete cabinet with base plate and pedestal and is available in a series of extension versions. The EK430 FDC M 2.6 meets the criteria of Germany’s National Broadband Funding Programme.

  • Micro-ducts/mini cable feeder section with fi xing and strain relief for up to 8 x micro-ducts Ø 6.5 - Ø 20 mm and associated mini cables of up to max. Ø 10 mm is possible (standard: 4 x micro-ducts or optical fi bre cables)
  • Optimised micro cable routing throughout, from entry port, sealing and strain relief to the splice section
  • Base plate for routing and sealing the micro-ducts and optical fi bre cables, including organisation and individual strain relief of the micro-ducts
  • Possible looping and stowage of uncut bundled loose tube fi bres / stowage of excess length of up to 6 m
  • Micro cable organiser for different diameters:
    – 1.3 mm
    – 1.8 mm
    – 2.5 mm
    – 2.8-3.0 mm
