Langmatz exhibited a representative selection of products for the railway engineering sector. This included track terminal boxes, outdoor cabinets, non-standard manholes and fuse boxes. The highlights of the trade fair stand were the ecopolytec manhole with a coupling coil and various track terminal boxes that were demonstrated for tram rail applications during a practical simulation. In addition to these, Langmatz presented a variety of outdoor cabinets and pedestals in different design variants to an interested trade audience. Several Langmatz PUBLIC transit stop information systems were put to good use in the bus display in the fair’s summer garden.
Langmatz exhibited its comprehensive FTTx product range at ANGA COM 2016. The main focal points this year were a splice and patch module for central office optical distribution frames, a polycarbonate manhole with a swivelling fibre enclosure bracket and an optical fibre mini distributor. The underground distribution system with a patch solution – one of the first underground optical fibre distribution solutions on the market – was a particular draw for visitors.
One primary development goal for our crossguide EK 533 and EK 424 pedestrian signal request devices was to implement a new universal (AC) full range power supply unit capable of handling supply voltages ranging from 24 – 230 V AC/DC. Visitors where able to confirm for themselves the excellent vandalism protection by kicking the showcased EK 533 crossguide. Langmatz also exhibited a prototype of the ActiWait, an interactive signal requesting device that has been co-developed by Urban Invention with assistance from Langmatz.
Langmatz attended the FTTH Conference with a comprehensive portfolio for FTTx products. Supported by a 3D film, Langmatz presented numerous products regarding this topic, starting from a manhole with telescopic extendable fibre closure bracket to fibre optic distribution cabinets as well as our fibre optic intrusion detection system. Further more we showcased building cables & pipe entry systems as well as optical distribution devices (ONT). The underground distribution system EK 880 and the optical fibre mini cabinet EK 30 were met with particularly keen interest by the technical audience, as Langmatz has been the leading manufacturer and supplier of optical fibre technology in connection with underground solutions to date.
Langmatz presented themselves once more as market leader for manholes made of PC and underground distribution systems. The “InfraTech Innovation Award” was awarded for the first time at the civil engineering exhibition in Germany. Langmatz was nominated under the TOP3 with manholes made of ecopolytec and finished in second place. The WPC material ecopolytec is the first ecological, recyclable and sustainable solution for use in civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Thanks to the nomination, many trade fair visitors took notice of the Langmatz booth.
Langmatz presented its complete FTTx portfolio at the ANGA COM 2015 in its new booth design. The new Langmatz alpine themed design was very well received. New products where introduced such as the ODF splice and patch assembly, the VarioModule for polycarbonate manholes as well as a small optical distribution frame.
A lot of attention was created by the Langmatz underground distribution system with optical patch connection system, which represents the first such solution in it’s field.
Langmatz brought its power engineering products to this year’s eltefa. Our exhibits included underground distribution systems (TechnikBox), polycarbonate manholes (QualityBox + EasyBox), optical fibre distribution frames, outdoor cabinets, street lights and various fuse boxes. Langmatz launched several new products at the event including an outdoor cabinet with EFEN disconnection modules, our Bavaria street light range with Hella LED inserts and our new fuse boxes with pre-installed DEHN surge protection device.
Langmatz exhibited at the FTTH Conference with a representative mix of FTTx products including an optical fibre distribution frame, building cable & pipe entry system as well as an optical fibre termination device. The highlight was Langmatz’s product innovation: an underground distribution system with a new 3M patch-solution. This solution makes Langmatz the first supplier to install this kind of engineering below ground.
