Langmatz Fibre Management System (L-FMS)

Generation 3.0 of Langmatz fibre distribution cabinets incorporates the Langmatz fibre management system, and thus includes trailblazing innovations. Developed in close collaboration with industry experts, our solution provides for intuitive handling, optimum cable routing, organisation, diversion and management of micro-duct pipes, cables and fibres. All individual components of the Langmatz fibre management system can also be installed without the need for tools. Our aim was to optimise installation and retrofit time, making the end product considerably simpler to set up.

Langmatz splice fibre trays

Langmatz in-house developed optical fibre trays form the heart of our innovative fibre management system. They are used in Langmatz fibre distribution cabinets and also in optical fibre distribution and termination boxes. Their optimised geometry ensures that they guarantee precise cable routing, while an improved fastening clamp provides for a secure hold in any position. The larger channel between the organiser and fibre tray ensures the problem-free entry and exit of more fibres. The channel closes automatically to prevent fibres inadvertently springing out when the fibre tray is opened. Naturally, the fibre tray features a robust bracket on the organiser and has an attractive design. Experience the future of “Made in Germany” fibre management.

Langmatz-Clips (L-Clip)

Accessories for Langmatz fibre trays The newly developed Langmatz clip is a well-thought-out accessory component for Langmatz fibre trays, aiding structured, future-proof documentation. The four clearly distinguishable colours provide for clear assignment of different functional areas and thus create an immediate overview – even in complex network structures. Individual fibre trays can be labelled cleanly and permanently, thanks to the clearly defined labelling surface on the clip. This minimises sources of errors, speeds up service calls, and improves operational safety and reliability. The integrated film hinge ensures that the Langmatz clip can remain on the fibre tray during configuration, splicing or patching. There is no need to remove it, making installation more efficient and optimising the time needed for installation. This results in a coherent, practically-based labelling system that significantly simplifies both initial installation and subsequent maintenance and service work.

PLC splitters

The market demands a wide range of different models. To meet this demand, Langmatz offers a wide range of tested splitters, which can be perfectly integrated into the Langmatz fibre management system. All splitters listed on the data sheet are fully compatible with Langmatz 5 mm and 10 mm fibre trays and can be securely inserted into the mounts provided. Combining our Langmatz optical fibre products with our tested splitters guarantees secure, clear and standard-compliant fibre routing at all times.

Patch panels for the L-FMS

The patch panel is an optional accessory for the Langmatz fibre management system. It is suitable for installation on the organiser and permits up to twelve SC simplex, LC duplex or E2000 simplex couplers to be accommodated flange-free.
