Our optical-fibre building cable & entry systems are specifically designed for the insertion of microducts into buildings to connect subscribers to the fiber optic network. They can also accommodate other media conductors, such as copper telecommunications cables or oval cables. Suitable for installation in most common wall types, such as waterproof concrete, brick, or hollow blocks, they offer maximum flexibility. During development, particular attention was paid to ensuring that the outer flange and the expanding foam conduit are perfectly matched. This allows for controlled foaming of the outer flange and along the borehole/media conductor, resulting in a high-quality and reliable seal.
Advantages
- Overbuildable version of the VarioPipe – enables installation over an already laid media conduit
- For special applications, such as the Langmatz fiber optic handover system
- Reliably gas-tight and pressure-water-tight (1 bar – 30 days | 2 bar – 1 day)
- Small borehole diameter: Ø 25 mm
- Can be installed horizontally or at an angle of up to 45° (continuously adjustable)
Application Area
- For underground installation
- For wall thicknesses ≥ 200 mm
- Suitable for installation in all common wall types
- Water exposure classes W1.1-E, W1.2-E, and W2.1-E according to DIN 18533
- WU concrete exposure classes 1 and 2 according to DAfStb 2017 (WU Guideline)
- Suitable for various media conduits:
- 1 × microduct Ø 7, 10, or 12 mm
- 1 × fiber optic cable Ø 6–13 mm
