Langmatz QaBo manhole

QaBo polycarbonate manholes are modular in design. A typical manhole (e.g. QaBo 800 x 800 EK328) consists of:

From top to bottom:

1. Manhole cover

  • Standard version of cover: concrete-lined steel, cast iron or paveable steel
  • Locking mechanism: numerous systems for operational safety and network operator standards

2. Steel frame

  • Hot-dip galvanised
  • Elastomeric damping pad for load distribution and noise reduction
  • Mount for height adjustment kit (continuous height and pitch adjustment up to approx. 50 mm)

3. 15 mm polycarbonate top frame

  • Built-in shuttering walls
  • Inspection windows for height adjustment

4. Frames / Vario Modules

  • Modular height, 70 mm, 220 mm, and 350 mm
  • 3D ribFrame® structure for ring stiffness
  • Integral predetermined breaking points for pipe inlets
  • Openings that can be built over for existing systems

5. Base plate

  • Non-slip texture
  • Openings / recesses for water drainage
