Top frame

Enhanced flexibility – thanks to new, flat 15 mm top frame

The new flat top frame enables the functional area of the manhole to be shifted closer to ground level. This allows lines
and pipes to be inserted higher, simplifying adaptation to different installation scenarios and supporting modern
installation processes.

A built-in inspection window provides for simple control of the backfilling with height adjustment – particularly helpful during site handover. Cut-outs for the locking bolts have been designed in such a way that they can be securely sealed at a later stage. Height adjustment of up to 50 mm is thus possible. An additional adapter and closing plates are available for compensation of up to 70 mm to meet more exacting requirements.

Continuous height adjustment

Manholes come with a height adjustment kit. Optimum adaptation of the top edge of the manhole to the ground level through continuous height and gradient adjustment between the top frame and the steel frame as per installation instructions.

After the manhole has been installed in the foundation pit and the backfilling has been compressed to the upper edge of the top frame, the steel frame is then levelled.

The benefits are:

  • Optimum fit of the upper edge of the manhole to the surface of the ground
  • Height adjustment of up to 50 mm is possible, with an addition of up to 70 mm for 15 mm top frames
  • Continuous height and angle adjustment between the top frame and steel frame
